As a child, Maha Devi Li Ra La had her special, idyllic places in nature she withdrew to whenever she wanted to commune with higher spirits and nature spirits. These places were lush and beautiful and felt immensely nourishing to her soul. Certain old trees would lend their protection and a sense of elevation, and at cozy spots near the brook she would garner her courage to keep staying in the flow of life, no matter what it had to serve her at times. Flower patches in the endless seeming meadows renewed her sense of aliveness with their colorful sights and impressions, and all in all, nature just seemed the most potent healer that always managed to lift her spirits and make her feel loved and at home. These moments of recuperation and self-reflection instilled the conviction in her that life is good and there are always benevolent forces available to assist us in any situation we desire help with.

Soon she learned that not everyone around her found the time to be in nature and reconnect with his own higher self. People around her would often get overwhelmed and stressed out by their daily challenges and lose sight of the importance to recuperate in order to be unconditionally happy, perform better and be able to give more. Maha Devi Li Ra La would often feel compelled to try and share with others the high points of her innermost communion with the higher forces of life but, to her disappointment, she found that most people didn’t understand the angle of perception and understanding she was coming from. Instead, a downward spiral of mutually exhausting relationships and circumstances was rampant around her, with her school years brimming with self-alienating and self-reducing influences, with both students and teachers being the vehicles for these soul-numbing dogmas. Knowledge was presented in a matter of fact way, with the explorative mind and creative spirit being mostly suppressed and frowned on.

Reading and listening to fairy tales, on the other hand, gave Maha Devi Li Ra La a tool to hold on to higher values and principles of life, as the protagonists underwent similar challenges, only to come out victorious over any oppressions and hindrances. Good character and moral qualities had their rewards, and evil was always overcome and punished by its own merits. It felt endlessly satisfying to know that writers of the past and present are aware of the interplay between good and evil, with good always winning in the end, and evil always dissipating under its own destructive influences. Most people in the real world around her seemed to be caught in an endless seeming grey zone of compromised values and morals, while in most notable fairy tales and epics a sense of righteousness prevailed that felt deeply comforting to Maha Devi Li Ra La’s longing soul. Creations and writings sourced from this ultimate level of existence are abundant with life transforming wisdom and soul nourishing elements.

Throughout her adult life, Maha Devi Li Ra La felt drawn to study spiritual knowledge, including the science of creative intelligence, and support these studies with the practice of meditation and yoga. She feels naturally motivated to expand her consciousness and become an embodiment of eternal values that are uplifting to life.
