Quotes 41-48

“Transcending duality, balancing polarities, finding the middle path that takes us out of our limited world perspective – Lord Buddha taught us by his example how to find meaning and purpose in life beyond all the suffering and seeming injustice of our mortal world. Likewise, there is as deep a meaning in tradition as there is in innovation: essential is the Divine life force and intelligence that underlies all of creation, and which animates and flows through us and through everything that is alive. In tradition we find as much life-enhancing values as we can find in innovative thought and action that shape our future. Any tradition, however, which got distorted over time and is not based on the Divine laws and values that support and uphold life, and any innovation that tries to dehumanize us and our world instead of spreading unconditional love and service to mankind, are neither beneficial to us nor do they deserve to be incorporated into our daily lives. Impure traditions and innovations create karma and create the necessity of time and space as continuums that allow us to work out that karma over time and within different locations. Pure, divinely inspired traditions and innovations, on the other hand, elevate us to our Divine status and ultimate purpose in life. For as long as we focus on and draw from the Divine Source of Life for our sustenance and inspiration, we find that past traditional values and futuristic innovations merge into the unfathomable well of the present moment, in which we have the infinite resources of the Divine available to us at all times. Thus past and future are just another present moment we happen to identify ourselves with at different times, but all we ever experience is this very present moment, the eternal Here and Now, the eye of the needle through which we perceive and experience everything we encounter on our path to ultimate self-realization.”

“Hate is based on the ignorance of the underlying unity of consciousness and life. It treats life as being separate from the Self. This gives rise to self-righteousness and unawareness of the consequences of one’s actions that cause all sorts of harm to our world and ourselves. Hate is born from our inner pain and hurt, and is a twisted, desperate attempt to feel loved and validated in a world, which we think, denies us these basic rights. Hate blinds us to the fact that we are the very creators of this vicious downward spiral, and that we are the ones who push love away the more we allow our pain to dominate our thoughts and actions. On the other hand, the kind of love that gives only to expect back, and that is easily disappointed when expectations aren’t met, is as binding to the wheel of karma as hate is, because it is conditional and therefore karma-creating. Transcending the polarity of hate and conditional love leads to true unattachment and to Divine, unconditional Love! Divine Love that – like the sun – shines equally on all of life, to nourish and uphold it, and to spread Its energy and intelligence throughout all of creation for any living being to partake of according to its capability to receive and give. Be therefore a beacon of Divine Light that shines brightly onto the world around you, bestowing your fellow humans with the kind of unconditional love that can move mountains, because it is so pure and powerful that it creates never-ending miracles in your life, lifting you and your world up to the freedom of the heavens!”

“Transcending the limitations of our understanding and beliefs is like taking the high road to our ultimate goal instead of getting stuck on the dirt roads of the back-country. If we can extricate ourselves from the mud of our uncontrollable emotions and impetuous actions, we can lift our conscious awareness to those elevated realms where everything looks perfect as it is and there is no reason to be angry, sad, or despondent anymore. The bigger picture always allows us to realize our life lessons, which actually help us to perceive opportunities for growth where others only see hindrances on their way, faltering under the pressures and creating more suffering and unwanted realities for themselves. Through transcending we enter the sanctuary of our inner self, the state of beingness beyond any time and space, and beyond any suffering of any kind. Any refined, life-supporting thought we think on this powerful level of creation will translate into a beautiful manifestation for us, a manifestation imbued with the blissful qualities of our supreme, Divine Self. Meditation and the transcending of our thoughts and base emotions catapults us to a bird’s perspective on our lives, which instills a deep sense of peace in our hearts and souls, a peace that surpasses all earthly pleasures, a peace that allows us to trust in the Higher workings of the Divine Will without us having to fight against life anymore, ready and willing to surrender to this Highest Will, because we now understand that It only has our own best interests at heart! The truth sets us free, and the truth resides within us, ready to be glimpsed and acted upon, if only we follow our own inner promptings to this wonderful place beyond all duality, strife, and suffering.”
